A New Adventure

The knowledge economy is changing fast and I am planning to see if independent content creation can be viable. The first project that I am launching is called “Machinocene” and its a series of systematic analyses of AI analogies and their influence on AI governance.

Global Risks Initiative, World Economic Forum 2022-2024

In this function I have co-authored the flagship Global Risks Report, administered the underlying Global Risks Perception Survey, and managed the Global Future Council on Complex Risks, an independent foresight advisory body.

Center for Security Studies, ETH Zurich 2019-2022

As a senior researcher in the academic think tank, I have provided policy-oriented research to the Swiss government and other partners. In that function I have presented to or engaged in workshops with a spectrum of organizations, including the OECD, RAND, the IGF, and the ICRC.
